I thought 100 was scary. I'd be petrified with 700+. Have a nice weekend!
700 plus...thts like a LOT!!! lolzJust came through your blog while reading on book blogs, finding it very good! Keep up the good work! :)Komz@The Review Girlhttp://komzreviews.blogspot.com/
Okay...now I'm only counting the ones I have physically...in my house or on Sparky, my Kindle. If I counted the ones at Goodreads, that would be appalling! LOLHere's MY BLOGGER HOP POST
Holy cannoli! You've definitely got me beat. May the bookish deities be with you :)
lol too funny! Good luck reading all those books! I haven't calculated my TBR pile yet... maybe today, if I'm feeling brave :)
First my jaw dropped and then I read that you are using your goodreads list as your barometer, whew! I was scared for you, thinking the walls of your house are made from books :)You better get started! have a great weekend
My stack isn't too bad....until I think how little time I have to read all them. :)NEW FOLLOWER.Just stopping by to say hello and to take a look around.I am having a Father's Day giveaway on my blog if you would like to stop by.http://silversolara.blogspot.com/2011/06/fathers-day-giveaway-from-little-brown.htmlHope you can visit.Elizabeth
I don't add all of them to goodreads...OIf I did I would be scared! LOLThanks for stopping by the blog, Meg!
I can't wait to read the new Ann Patchett. My goodreads queue has about 40 on it. That sounds about right!
HIJust hopping by! My TBR list is over a thousand - and that is just ones I own! I use BookCollectorz and goodreads to organise them but neither are up to dateShelleyrae @ Book'd Outwww.bookdout.wordpress.com
Right now, I have 187 books on my To Read shelf at Goodreads. However, I don't add EVERYTHING there. I'm afraid I would get overwhelmed. When I come across an ebook through my library's web site, I add it to my wish list there if it looks interesting. And if I am browsing at Amazon or Barnes and Noble, I do the same thing. I only add it to my Goodreads once I have definitely decided I want to read it. For example, I want to read a good Lincoln biography this year, but I don't plan to read all of the dozen that looked interesting. Once I settle on one or two, they will go to Goodreads.
I thought I was bad with 384 books on my to-read list. lolThis is both books i have here as well as books I see that i like the look of but haven't yet tracked down.I copy all the titles and authors into a word processing document and print it and that is what i take to the library with me when I go. This way if I don't see anything new I like to read, I can jump on the computer and have a look to see if the ones on my list are in the catalogue.
@Whitney I'm very afraid and my TBR list just seems to continue to grow and never shrink! Eek!
@Komal Mansoor It's not like a lot; it is a lot!!!
@Creations by Laurel-Rain Snow Goodreads is scary but I love being organized on there!
@Kat P Thank you, dear! I need all the help I can get!
@Rebs @ Book-Rants Thank you!
@JP It's truly a sobering exercise!
@Mari Walls made from books? That sounds wonderful actually!
@Elizabeth That's always my problem; I need more time to read!
@readingromances Goodreads is so good for keeping me organized!
@Nikki Thank you!
@Blurb is a Verb I'm also very excited for the new Ann Patchett!
@bookdout I try to keep my Goodreads up to date. I like being organized!
@kim Yes! I try to make sure that I only add things that I really want to read!
@Just one page at a time Yes, I do the same thing at the library with my Goodreads' spreadsheets.
Hi! Welcome to A Bookish Affair. If you leave a comment, I will try to either reply here or on your site!As of 6/6/2011, this book is now an awards free zone. While I appreciate the awards, I would rather stick to reviewing more great books for you than trying to fill the requirements.
