When I read a book I really enjoy, I usually want to tell everyone I know about it. In fact, that's mostly why I book blog. I wanted to call your attention to a book that I read in September called The Dragon and the Pearl. You all know that I have a thing for historical fiction. I've found that it's hard to find a lot of historical fiction that takes place outside of Europe and don't get me wrong, I could probably read about the wives of Henry VIII all day long but I love, love, love when I come across a book that takes place in a setting that is less familiar to me. The Dragon and the Pearl by Jeannie Lin is one of those books! Not only is the setting off my beaten path but it has fabulous characters and is really well written
All this being said, when I saw that Jeannie was holding a Launch Event for The Dragon and the Pearl, I knew that I had to jump on it and tell you all about this book again.
