I feel very lucky to live in DC for the mere fact of all of the bookish things that I'm surrounded by. We have some really wonderful Indie bookstores here that are fairly well known locally (I'll feature a couple of them later in the month). I know that in some other areas, it's a little harder to find Indie bookstores. That's where Indie Bound comes in! Indie Bound is a great source to search for your local Indie bookstore.
Indie Bound also has some other awesome resources including a list of great reads to look for the next time you're in your local Indie.
Have you ever visited Indie Bound?
I have visited it, but it doesn't give me any new ones that I wasn't aware of already, or of any interest to me. Two of the five in my area only featured specialized subjects. Probably why I frequent library sales.
