Library Loot: May 11 - 17

Ooo, I got a lot of good books from the library this week. The husband is out of town this weekend and I have no big plans. I think I might have a readathon! I have a few books that I've received that I need to sit down and read so I can write reviews as promised. So much reading that I want to do, so little time!

Here's what I got:

What did you get from your library this week?

  1. I asked a librarian this week why Caleb's Crossing wasn't yet in the system, and she went into the back room to get it for me.
    I'm first, baby!
(It's the little victories that keep me going.)
I would also like to read I Think I Love You by Allison Pearson.

  2. Nice picks! I loved Room (as much as you can love such unsettling subject matter), and it generated so much discussion at my book club. Can't wait to hear your thoughts! The Peach Keeper is in my TBR pile now. I'm a big Sarah Addison Allen fan, so I'm really looking forward to this one too.

  3. LOVED Room! Can't wait to hear your thoughts. Our book club just reviewed it last night and almost everyone rated it quite high. If I Stay also geberated a great discussion from our book club but I haven't read Where She Went yet. Great loot!

  9. Great Loot!!! You have me adding some titles to my TBR list! I have been looking forward to reading Peach Keeper...ditto on the cover. Lovely! Room was one of my favorite reads on the year. It was a great discussion book for both of my book groups. I am not famliar with Gayle Forman, but both books look intersting. hope you have a wonderful readathon!

Hi! Welcome to A Bookish Affair. If you leave a comment, I will try to either reply here or on your site!

As of 6/6/2011, this book is now an awards free zone. While I appreciate the awards, I would rather stick to reviewing more great books for you than trying to fill the requirements.
