84 Charing Cross Road is one of my all-time favourite books. It reminds me quite a lot of The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society which is always a good thing. It's short, sweet and so adorable! The sequel isn't much good, but the first is wonderful :)
Great bookish gifts! I'm really curious about 84 Charing Cross Road; I've heard lots of good things about it. Happy reading!
You got some great books! I have been wanting to read Catherine the Great.
You got some great books, many of which are on my wish list. Happy reading!
Wow! You took in a pile. I got 11/22/63, which I read in 2.5 days, while ignoring my family.
@Hanna I hadn't heard of it before actual but if it's anything like TGLaPPPS (love the acronym, no?), I'll love it!
@Anna That was the only book that I hadn't asked for but it looks like it's right down my alley.
@Anne I'm so excited!
@reviewsbylola I can't wait to read them all!
@Sarah I really want to read that one! Glad to hear that you got sucked into it ;P
I have the Hunger Game Trilogy too...need to read those. Like you, i need more time. If I could give up sleep I would :)Thanks for following my blog. I am delighted to be following yours..you are almost at 100 followers ..wahoo!
I want to read Hunger Games....the first one is the Feb selection for my book club! I also am thinking I want to tackle Catherine the Great! I did get the Steve Jobs biography for my ereader this Christmas, as well as a gift card to Barnes and Noble towards a 2nd ebook.
84 Charing Cross Road is one every book blogger should read. It's a great book to read in one sitting. Happy New Year :)
Enjoy all your books! =)
