A Very Bookish Christmas

This Christmas was a very bookish Christmas for me. I have a lot of fabulous new books to read now! (I just need more time to read them)!

Did you get any books for the holidays?

  1. 84 Charing Cross Road is one of my all-time favourite books. It reminds me quite a lot of The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society which is always a good thing. It's short, sweet and so adorable! The sequel isn't much good, but the first is wonderful :)

  5. Wow! You took in a pile. I got 11/22/63, which I read in 2.5 days, while ignoring my family.

  6. @Hanna I hadn't heard of it before actual but if it's anything like TGLaPPPS (love the acronym, no?), I'll love it!

  7. @Anna That was the only book that I hadn't asked for but it looks like it's right down my alley.

Hi! Welcome to A Bookish Affair. If you leave a comment, I will try to either reply here or on your site!

As of 6/6/2011, this book is now an awards free zone. While I appreciate the awards, I would rather stick to reviewing more great books for you than trying to fill the requirements.
