  1. Well I just finished the Poisoned House by Michael Ford and I'm currently reading Eve by Anna Carey. Not sure what I'm going to read next though...

  4. What is Domestic Violets about? I haven't heard of it but I am always intrigued when people tell me it is their favorite book of the year.

Does this comment put me in the contest? Or do I need to go somewhere else to sign up?

  8. @Anne Domestic Violets actually made me laugh out loud. I love when a book can do that!

  9. @Anne Bennett In one line, Domestic Violets is about a DC based copywriter who dreams of being a book writer but doesn't want to live in his Pulitzer Prize winner father's shadow. It doesn't sound like a really funny premise but I promise you the book is really witty and funny.

Hi! Welcome to A Bookish Affair. If you leave a comment, I will try to either reply here or on your site!

As of 6/6/2011, this book is now an awards free zone. While I appreciate the awards, I would rather stick to reviewing more great books for you than trying to fill the requirements.
