Love that cover, too ; ) I always wonder how much power they have over the direction of the design of their book cover. My brother just got into designing book covers and would like to know what he should expect! A lot of great literature would be irreparably damaged if the foul language was to be removed. I don't swear much myself but lots of people do. Prissy books for prissy souls I guess and reality for the rest of us.
carlscott(at)prodigy(dot)net(dot)mx
Carl Scotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11887990491392099928noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8091584537195738879.post-1698841862735150362013-06-19T10:59:45.766-04:002013-06-19T10:59:45.766-04:00I have thrown books aways because they were filled...I have thrown books aways because they were filled with profanity and made me feel creepy but when I book that about war or a very destructive situation where it fits, I don't even notice it because it fits!!!

CarolNWong(at)aol(dot)comCarol N Wonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06873206816286352639noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8091584537195738879.post-7147040297947120132013-06-19T05:35:11.698-04:002013-06-19T05:35:11.698-04:00I do like to read about characters who come across...I do like to read about characters who come across as real to me. I love this post because while I don't swear often and don't find it attractive, it does lend authenticity to characters if it is what the characters would do. I love WWII books especially in settings I'm not familiar with.
