It's Monday, What Are You Reading?

Just finished:

This was my first Sarah Dessen book and I loved it!

Currently Reading:

I'm participating in a virtual book tour for this one next week through Goddess Fish. I'll two things about this book so far: 1. It's super steamy and perfect for summer and 2. I want that dress on the cover.

Next Up:

I'm very excited for this one.

  2. This is going to sound bad. I haven't read a Dessen book either! I shall rectify that immediately!

I'm a new follower. You can find me at http://underthecoversbookblog.blogspot.com/!

    Great blog! Happy reading :)

  3. I thought Annexed was a great read, yet, not surprisingly, heartbreaking. No matter how many books I read about Anne Frank, I always hope that I'm reading fiction, and it will somehow end differently.

  5. I'm glad you enjoyed Lock and Key; I recently bought it for like $3 at B&N. I read my first Dessen a few weeks ago (The Truth About Forever) and loved her as well!

Happy reading, especially Annexed! Sounds interesting!

  6. I just read Lock and Key a couple of weeks ago! It was so amazing, I'm glad you loved it too! :D It was my second Dessen book, I've also read Along For the Summer and I really liked it too, you should definitely check it out, it's a perfect read for the summer...if the name didn't already make it super obvious. ;)

I've heard great things about Annexed, I hope you like it! Happy Reading! :D

  8. I've never read a Dessen book, but I really want to fit one in somewhere. My problem is that I hear they're all so great, I get overwhelmed with knowing which to start with.

  11. @Kat P It's a historical fiction, YA novel about Peter Van Pels, the teenage boy who was in the Secret Annex with Anne Frank. I'm really liking it so far!

  13. @Alison's Book Marks Yes! I'm right with you. I read Anne Frank's Diary a couple times and every time and I've been fascinated by some of the other stories that have come out about life in the Secret Annex. You keep hoping that something changes!

As of 6/6/2011, this book is now an awards free zone. While I appreciate the awards, I would rather stick to reviewing more great books for you than trying to fill the requirements.
